St. Charles Garnier Catholic School is proud to announce that the Junior Division students will be involved in after school extracurricular cooking and sewing programs throughout this year. These fun opportunities and enriching learning experiences for Grade 4 to 6 students is due to the extreme generosity of the Priszm S’Cool Life Fund Organization, a Canadian non-profit organization that provides funding for equipment and programs for students throughout Canada. Special thanks to Tom Kandathil, area manager for the organization who presented an $800 cheque to teacher organizers, Ms. Cicci and Ms. Scarangella at a school assembly. The students responded with much enthusiasm and excitement over this new program. They will soon be involved in cooking and baking nutritious and delicious foods as well as learning how to sew simple fabric crafts.

Pat Tari, principal at St. Charles Garnier Catholic School, gratefully poses along with his teachers Ms. Cicci & Ms. Scarangella as he accepts the $800 cheque from the organizers of the Priszm S'Cool Life Fund.
